Question 1, What is the working title of your book?
I plan to write four books. I have written two books so far and I am currently writing a third in my Forest of Dean Wolves series. Book 1 Wanted, book 2 Trusted and my work in progress book 3 Hunted.
Question 2, Where did the idea for the book come from?
My imagination always runs amok, and after visiting the forest and my family who live there, a story line began to form and evolve.
Question 3, What genre does your book fall under?
My books are young adult/paranormal genre, but I'm glad to say that they are being enjoyed by a wider audience.
Question 4, Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
Without a doubt I would love Juno Temple to play the part of Kat.
Robbie Amell has the cheeky boy look that I imagine Jase to have, but to play the part of Jase, Robbie would have to grow his hair a little.
Question 5, What is the one sentence synopsis of your book?
Life is hard for 17 year old Kat, she has just discovered that her life is about to change, and so is she, into a wolf.
Question 6, Will your book be self published or represented by an agency?
My books in the Forest of Dean Wolves series will be self published.
Question 7, How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
It took me about six months to write my first draft in this series. I then spent another three months debating whether or not to self publish it.
Question 8, What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
This is a hard question for me. This story contains romance, love, lust and family issues. A young girl who has to make choices that affect her and her community in order for her pack to survive. She has to face some pretty challenging issues and make the right decisions otherwise she could die....I am not able to make a comparison as I like to think that my series is unique.
Question 9, Who or what inspired you to write this book?
In January 2012 I watched the story of J.K.Rowling and felt inspired, I already had a plot and had been building my characters, but - it was my husbands belief in me that actually got me writing.
Question 10, What else about your book might pique the readers interest?
I like to lull my readers into a believable world of shifters where you either love my characters or hate them. Good guys, bad guys, lovable guys, this series has them all.
I like to write the unexpected to keep my readers wanting more.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
